AdvancedGeo
Environmental
12 July 2019
AGE Project No. 13-2947
Mr. Michael Kith
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department — Site Mitigation
1868 E. Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Subject: Well Destruction Work Plan
Levand Family Trust
47 East Eleventh Street, Tracy, California
Dear Mr. Kith:
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this work plan for the destruction
of groundwater monitoring wells at 47 East Eleventh Street, Tracy, California (site). A total
of ten (10) groundwater monitoring wells are located on and offsite. All of the groundwater
monitoring wells are single-completed with 2-inch diameter well casings in an 8-inch
diameter borehole. The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1.
Structures, soil borings, and well locations are illustrated in Figure 2. Well construction
details are summarized in Table 1.
This work plan was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality
Control Board (CVRWQCB) directive letter dated 17 May 2019 (Appendix A).
INTRODUCTION
In October 2013, a leaking underground storage tank (UST) case was initiated at the site
based on the detection of gasoline range petroleum in the soil during the removal of three
USTs on site. A Notice of Responsibility was provided to the Levand Family Trust in March
2014, which required additional assessment and investigation of the unauthorized
release. In February 2015 and June 2016, AGE performed limited subsurface
investigations of soil and groundwater contamination near the former UST locations at
the site. Additionally, as part of the subsurface investigation of the former UST area,
groundwater monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-10 were installed at the site in June
2016. Well construction details are summarized in Table 1.
837 Shaw Road • Stockton, CA 95215
Telephone (800) 511-9300 • Fax (888) 445-8786
An Employee-Owned Company
