The purpose of the additional groundwater delineation <br />is to determine if elevated concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons are present in the <br />groundwater along the northern property boundary extend off site. <br />The scope of work described by this workplan includes advancing two hydropunch borings and <br />collecting groundwater samples for analysis. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Health and Safety Plan <br />As required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard <br />"Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response" guidelines (29 CFR 1910.120), and <br />by California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal-OSHA) "Hazardous Waste <br />Operations and Emergency Response" guidelines (CCR Title 8, Section 5192), ATC will prepare <br />a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP) prior to the commencement of fieldwork. The <br />Site-Specific HASP will be reviewed and signed by field staff and contractors before beginning <br />field operations at the site. <br />Planning and Permits <br />Prior to commencement of off-site drilling activities, ATC will obtain an encroachment permit <br />from the City of Stockton. Once the encroachment permits are issued, a copy will be submitted <br />with boring permit applications to San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department for the <br />advancement and installation of two HydroPunche borings. <br />1
