Kennedy/Jenks Consultants <br />health and safety regulations, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and Hazardous Waste <br />Operations and Emergency Response, and CalOSHA Standards (8 CCR 5192). Many of the <br />protocols of the corporate program are conducted on a routine basis (general training, respirator <br />fit testing, general medical record keeping, etc.) and are not repeated herein. The Health and <br />Safety Operations Manual is available to Kennedy/Jenks Consultants employees upon request <br />during normal business hours. Questions regarding the program should be referred to the <br />Kennedy/Jenks Consultants Industrial/Environmental Business Unit Health & Safety Manager <br />(H&S Manager) John Jindra, or the Director of Health, Safety, and Environment (Director of <br />HS&E) Bert Drews. <br />A copy of this HASP, along with any addenda containing activity-specific health and safety <br />information, will be kept in a conspicuous location at all times while work is being conducted at <br />the site. <br />All staff participating in field activities on BNSF property for this project will be required to have <br />the following: <br />Proof of completion of BNSF Contractor within the last 12 months as provided <br />by vvww.bnsfcontractorcom. <br />Kennedy/Jenks Consultants personnel, who work on BNSF property, will have <br />completed the e-RAILSAFE System background check and the computer-based safety <br />and security awareness training. <br />Form of government issued ID with photo <br />Proof of completion of Roadway Worker Protection (On-Track Safety) training within the <br />last 12 months as provided by www.railroadeducationcom if work activities move within <br />25 feet of track centerline. <br />As a basic safety requirement, Kennedy/Jenks personnel will not: <br />Operate, move, modify, or in any way touch railroad equipment <br />Operate construction machinery (e.g., backhoes, graders, etc.) <br />Walk, step, sit, or stand on a rail <br />Cross between rail cars or locomotives, or climb underneath or above rail cars to <br />reach the other side of the track. <br />A BNSF Contractor Safety Action Plan has been completed and has been submitted <br />electronically. A copy of the Safety Action Plan is attached to this HASP (Appendix B).
