Kennedy/Jenks Consultants <br />5.2.3 Chemical Use Plan and Material Safety Data Sheets <br />(MSDS)/Hazard Communication <br />In addition to site-related chemicals, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants field personnel may work with <br />compressed gasses, decontamination materials, and other materials that present potential <br />health and safety issues. Typical chemicals that may be brought to the site are listed below. <br />lsobutylene calibration gas <br />Kennedy/Jenks Consultants has a "cradle to grave" policy regarding the purchase, storage, use, <br />transportation, and disposal of chemicals used in the field. The Chemical Use Policy and <br />Procedures are attached as Appendix G to provide guidance on the proper protocols for <br />chemical use in the field. The Chemical Use Plan (see Appendix G) must be completed by <br />Kennedy/Jenks Consultants field staff using the chemicals and approved by the H&S Manager. <br />Kennedy/Jenks Consultants has a Hazard Communication Written Program (see Appendix G) <br />and training programs that cover these materials.
