S0 JOA U 1 Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> STOCKTON PROPELLER INC 2478 WILCOX RD, STOCKTON May 18, 2021 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> hazardous waste generator status. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 104 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)No modified contingency plan. <br /> OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan was observed in a binder but was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br /> areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br /> telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the <br /> telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by posting the plan. No further action is <br /> required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 106 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. Mike Belmont, Service Manager, stated that <br /> employees at the site have not received hazardous waste generator training. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees.
