AdvancedGeo <br />Environmental <br />25 April 2017 <br />AGE-NC Project No. 97-0301 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with <br />EPA Methods TO-15; <br />Volatile aromatic compounds (naphthalene and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, <br />xylenes: BTEX compounds) in accordance with EPA Method TO-15; <br />Isopropyl alcohol in accordance with EPA Method TO-15 and <br />Oxygen (as a percentage) in accordance with Modified ASTM D-1946. <br />Laboratory reports for the soil sample and soil-vapor sample analyses, testing methods, <br />laboratory quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of <br />custody documentation will be presented in a report with findings and recommendations. <br />2.3. REPORT PREPARATION <br />Results of the soil and soil-vapor intrusion investigation will be presented in a report of <br />findings. The report will be in a format acceptable to the CRVVQCB (Appendix A - Reports, <br />Tr-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation <br />of Underground Storage Tank Sites), the data will be evaluated against the media specific <br />criteria of the LTCP and will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional <br />Geologist. <br />3.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br />All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of <br />a California Professional Geologist. Procedures for soil boring advancement, soil sample <br />collection and soil-vapor sample collection procedures are described below. <br />3.1. DRILLING ACTIVITIES <br />The following procedures will be performed prior to any digging/drilling activities: <br />Prepare a Site Health and Safety Plan in accordance with the Occupational Safety <br />and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities - Prepared by <br />National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Safety and <br />Health Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Environmental Protection <br />Agency, October 1985. <br />Notify the RWQCB and SJCEHD a minimum of 72 hours prior to commencement <br />of any work, following the date of issue for drilling and/or well permits. <br />All drilling locations will be marked at least 48 hours in advance for an Underground <br />Service Alert (USA) check of underground utilities or pipes.
