Pacific Pride - 2 - 23 April 2018
3147 South El Dorado St.
Stockton, San Joaquin County
2017 monitoring event and several recent monitoring events, has been towards the
west. The rose diagram included in the first quarter 2017 groundwater monitoring report
depicts the predominant groundwater gradient as being towards the northeast and east
by northeast. Well MW-6 is located to the west of MW-1, and has not been monitored in
several years. Due to the apparent reversal of the groundwater gradient, staff request
that all Site wells be sampled during the next groundwater monitoring event, scheduled
for June 2018. This data should aid in determining if the petroleum hydrocarbons in
groundwater are stable to decreasing. Please submit the Second Quarter 2018
Groundwater Monitoring Report by 15 September 2018. Please include an updated
rose diagram in future groundwater monitoring reports.
3. In the 202018 Report, AGE recommended that a low risk closure evaluation be
prepared for the Site. Staff concur with a request for no further action required should
be submitted, if results of the second soil gas sampling event confirm that vapor
intrusion criteria are met, and if results of the second quarter 2018 groundwater
monitoring event show petroleum hydrocarbons are stable to decreasing.
If you have any questions, please contact me via phone at (916) 464-4792 or via email at
vfischer@waterboards.ca.gov.
