The purpose
of this report is to provide an SSS and NLS based on the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
requirements. The purpose of the SSS is to determine whether the soils are suitable for use with
septic systems and includes conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as
required by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department The purpose of the NLS is to
measure the potential impact of nitrate from septic systems leaching into the ground to impact
groundwater. This NLS is formatted, to the greatest degree possible, to follow the structure of the
structure of the EHD's Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003.
We appreciate the opportunity to provide our expertise on this project and look forward to
providing other services in the future. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Petralogix Engineering, Inc.

g. 5c),.#1,vzir

Tonya R. Scheftner, Project Geologist Daniel E.
