CULTURAL RESOURCES. <br />Would the project: <br />Cause a substantial adverse change in the <br />significance of a historical resource pursuant <br />to 15064.5? <br />Cause a substantial adverse change in the <br />significance of an archaeological resource <br />pursuant to § 15064.5? <br />Disturb any human remains, including those <br />interred outside of dedicated cemeteries? <br />Impact Discussion: <br />a-c) The development approval of the project will include conditions of approval and mitigation measures <br />to avoid potential impacts to cultural resources. In the event human remains are encountered during <br />any portion of the project, California state law -requires -that there shall be no further excavation or <br />disturbance of the site or any nearby area-reasonably suspected to overlie adjacent remains until the <br />coroner of the county has determined manner and cause of death, and the recommendations <br />concerning the treatment and disposition of the human remains have been made to the person <br />responsible for the excavation (California-Health and Safety Code - Section 7050.5). <br />PA-2000063(MP), PA-2000064(SP), & PA-2000065(SA) — Initial Study 11
