NOISE.

Would the project result in:
Generation of a substantial temporary or
permanent increase in ambient noise levels in
the vicinity of the project in excess of
standards established in the local general plan
or noise ordinance, or applicable standards of
other agencies?
Generation of excessive groundborne
vibration or groundborne noise levels?
For a project within the vicinity of a private
airstrip or an airport land use plan, or where
such a plan has not been adopted, within two
miles of a public airport or public use airport,
would the project expose people residing or
working in the project area to excessive noise
levels?
Impact Discussion:
Li I-1
a-c) The proposed project development will have a less than significant impact on existing noise or
exposure to noise in general, since the applications do not change approved noise standards for
transportation noise sources or density. Previous acoustical analyses have been conducted for the
project site as required in the Final EIR for the Mountain House community. However, the development
project may have equipment utilized in the grading of the site that will temporarily increase the area's
ambient noise levels. Underlying projects when approved will be required to comply with Development
Title Section 9-1025.9 (c) (3) which states that:
Noise sources associated with construction are exempt from the provisions of the Noise
Ordinance provided such activities do not take place before 6:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. on any
day.
As such, noise generation from the proposed underlying projects will be reduced to less than
significant with this added condition.
PA-2000063(MP), PA-2000064(SP), & PA-2000065(SA1— Initial Study 22
