Mariposa Rd, Stockton <br />APN 171-300-09 <br />Wayne Fox, REHS, Interim Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS <br />Michael Kith, REHS <br />Melissa Nissim, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the close -loop Wash Pad <br />Plan (the Plan) dated November 12, 2019 designed by Mike Smith Engineering, Inc. for the above noted <br />location submitted to EHD on March 2, 2020, and addendum submittals from Haley Contracting to EHD by <br />email on April 10, 2010. The Plan is approved with the following conditions: <br />1. Obtain a consultation service request from EHD for an inspection to verify the closed-loop system and <br />that there is no waste discharge before the wash pad can begin operation. <br />2. Conduct daily inspection to ensure no waste discharge to the environment. <br />3. Continue coverage of the two sub -surface holding tanks with the two metal lids observed during <br />previous EHD inspections in 2016 and 2017, or provide equivalent measures for entry and fall <br />protection. <br />4. Before any hazardous materials/waste can be stored or used onsite, the owner/operator must report <br />to the California Environmental Reporting System (GFRs) which can be found at cers.calepa.ca.gov/ <br />for the following: <br />a. Any amount of hazardous waste (e.g., used oil, waste solvent, waste gasoline, many waste <br />paints/tints, some sandblast wastes, etc.) —Hazardous Waste Program <br />Every business that generates hazardous waste is required to obtain either a <br />permanent Federal EPA ID Number (415) 495-8895 or a California ID Number (800) <br />618-6942. <br />b. Onsite treatment of hazardous waste —Hazardous Waste Treatment Tiered Permitting <br />Program <br />cI <br />Reportable quantities of hazardous materials -reportable quantities are 55 gallons or more of <br />liquids, 500 pounds for solids, or 200 cubic feet for compressed gases, with some exceptions. — <br />Hazardous Materials Business Plan Program <br />d.
