DIAMETER PIT INSTALLED NORTH OF THE SEPTIC TANKS. <br />PER LEONARD WHEN THE SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS HAVING ISSUES, THERE WAS A WET SPOT SOUTH OF THE SEPTIC TANKS. <br />THERE MAY POSSIBLY BE ANOTHER PIT IN THE BACKYARD, UNABLE TO VERIFY. <br />EHD RECOMMENDATION: <br />1 � SPECIAL PERMIT MINIMUM REPAIR FOR TWO 42 IN. DIAMETER SEEPAGE PITS IN BACKYARD AREA WITH A WAIVER FOR THE <br />MINIMUM 40 FT. OF LEACH LINE. THE PROPERTY LINE BETWEEN THE TWO PARCELS GOES THROUGH THE RECOMMENDED AREA. <br />2) IF TANK WILL BE REPLACED IT MUST MEET 5 FT. SETBACKS FROM HOUSE AND PROPERTY LINE AS WELL AS CONNECT TO <br />EXISTING LEACH LINES AND SEEPAGE PITS. EXISTING SEPTIC TANKS MUST BE PUMPED AND DESTROYED UNDER PERMIT. <br />3) SEEPAGE PITS MUST MEET THE 10 FT. SETBACK FROM ANY STRUCTURE, 5 FT. FROM THE PROPERTY LINE, AND THE PITS <br />MUST BE 10 FT. APART EDGE TO EDGE. <br />4) IF THERE IS NOT ENOUGH ROOM TO MEET THE REQUIRED SETBACKS WITH 42 IN.
