Other <br /> requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. <br /> 1) The onsite sewage disposal system (SR0083751) shall be inspected and approved by the <br /> Environmental Health Department before Certificate of Final Occupancy is issued (San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4 (d)). <br /> 2) The onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) shall be designed to receive all domestic <br /> sewage and wastewater from the property. Only domestic sewage is allowed to discharge <br /> into the OWTS. No basement, footing or surface drainage or discharge from water softener, <br /> iron filter, pool filters, or water treatment systems shall be permitted to enter any part of the <br /> OWTS. (San Joaquin County OWTS Standards 1.10.1) <br /> a) Prohibited discharges into OWTS include: automobile and garage waste, storm drainage, <br /> solvents and toxics, solids, garbage, kitchen wastewater from restaurant or bar, air <br /> conditioners, hazardous wastes, backwash, truck terminal wastes, recreational vehicle <br /> holding tank waste, industrial and manufacturing waste, and food processing wastes. <br /> (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.7 and San Joaquin County <br /> OWTS 1.14). <br /> 3) Applicant will need to get written approval from a public entity for the disposal of winery <br /> wastewater by removal of winery wastewater to an offsite disposal facility or from the Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for discharge to land. That written approval shall <br /> be presented to the Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of building permit <br /> and/or final occupancy approval (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1125.5). <br /> 4) Applicant shall contact Robert McClellon, Program Coordinator, Small Public Water System <br /> Program, at (209) 468-0332, to determine if the existing well can be permitted as a public <br /> water system prior to issuance of building permits. If a public water system is required, <br /> applicant shall submit a Small Public Water System preliminary technical report to the <br /> California State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water (Water Board) <br /> at least six months before initiating construction of any water related improvement, as <br /> defined. The issuance of a permit to operate a small public water system by the local primacy <br /> agency (EHD) is prohibited without the concurrence of the Water Board.
