All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be connected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The free chlorine level is at 50 ppm. Adjust to 3.0-10.0 ppm today. <br />Spa will remain closed until a second reinspection is done. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentration: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa light turned on and off but would not turn back on after the GFI was reset. The GFI tripped <br />properly. Ensure lights are working. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in flinch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br />#46 .Other <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa was replastered in 2014 by Five Star Plastering. Plans have not been submitted. Submit plans <br />in 2 weeks. <br />The on switch for the spa jets is not working.
