All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as 'MAJOR'pose an immediate threat to public health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545 #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is 1.4 ppm. Provide free chlorine 2-10 ppm today. I observe 1 gallon of liquid chlorine poured to pool. Now free chlorine is 6.6 ppm corrected on site. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specked. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) #7 Pool Deck OBSERVATIONS: Cracks are observed on both sides of the pool at 3FT depth. Seal in 1 week. CALCODE DESCRIPTION., An unobstructed 4 -foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any diving board, ADA device, or slide.
