PAYNE <br />DEPUTY DIRECTOR <br />The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works is the Agency <br />responsible for the administration of the County Solid Waste <br />Management Plan. The Department has reviewed the requirements of <br />California Government Code Title 7.3, Article 2, Section 66784 with <br />respect to the conformance of the proposed North County Sanitary <br />Landfill with the County Solid Waste Management Plan. <br />The current County Solid Waste Management Plan, approved by the <br />California Waste Management Board in October, 1986, indicated the <br />closure of the current Harney Lane Landfill which serves the North <br />County Area, and replacement with a new sanitary landfill to <br />continue serving the North County Area. <br />It is the determination of the Department that the proposed North <br />County Sanitary Landfill is in conformance with the most recently <br />revised and approved County Solid Waste Management Plan. <br />Henry7.
