A. The North County Sanitary Landfill (NCSL) 17916 E. Harney <br /> Lane, Lodi is owned by the County of San Joaquin and <br /> operated by San Joaquin County Department of Public <br /> Works. This is a new landfill and is replacing the <br /> existing Harney Lane landfill when it closes. <br /> B. NCSL is a class III landfill. NCSL is located at 380 06'1 <br /> latitude, 1210 04 longitude in the eastern half of <br /> Section 21, T3N R8E Linden, California, U.S. Geological <br /> Survey topographic quadrangle. The facility is a 320 <br /> acre site of which 185.4 acres will be utilized for land <br /> filling. (see Appendix A) . <br /> C. The facility will have a gate house and truck weigh <br /> scale. An office and maintenance building with sanitary <br /> facilities, parking for landfill personnel and visitors <br /> will be included in the entrance area. It will also have <br /> a covered building with a tipping area. A permanent <br /> berm, set back 100 feet from the property line, will be <br /> constructed around the landfill perimeter. <br /> D. TYPES OF WASTE RECEIVED: <br /> a. Residential Refuse <br /> b. Commercial/Industrial Waste <br /> C. Garden Refuse <br /> d. Wood Waste <br /> e. Metals <br /> f. Paper Products <br /> g. Glass <br /> h. Tires <br /> i. Plastic <br /> j . Agricultural Wastes <br /> k. Construction/Demolition <br /> E. The daily peak tonnage is 825 tons per day. This tonnage <br /> figure is based upon an annual increase of 3%.
