Highway 26 - Phone (209) 887.3710 Post Office Box 244 - Linden, California 95236 ; All i, -7 1198 San Joaquin County Planning Division 8 1810 East Hazelton : tJi Stockton Calif. 95205 Application No; UP -89 -2 -North County Landfill Due to the distance from the Linden -Peters Fire District Fire Station located in Linden,approximately 8 1/2 Miles from the proposed Dump Site, The Winter time road and fog conditions and the projected life span of this proposed Dump Site, the following recommendations are being submitted by this Fire District. 1. A Master plan of underground water mains and hydrants be developed. Minimum required flow of 750 GPM. The fire flow becalculated at the remotest area of the dump site. 2. Disposal cells be used for garbage, trash etc; and at least 2 Fire Hydrants on underground water mains be maintained within 300 feet of the active dumpleell. 3. Permament Hydrants be installed at the Main Entrance to the dump site, also at the stockpile, salvage area's and at the Maintenance shop area. 4. An area within the dump site be set up to dump hot loads, this area also to have a fire hydrant readily accessible . 5. All weather, minimum of 20 foot wide access roads to be maintained to the active dump cell -site, salvage areas and hydrant locations. 6. A minimum of 60 feet cleared area be maintained around the perimeter of the entire dump site. 7. A Water-tenderj1500 to 2000 gal. capacity be maintained at the dump site, capable of 100 to 150 GPM with proper hose and nozzles. 8. All working equipment have a portable, workable fire extinguisher on them at all times. 9.
