E
LVA &
SSOCIATES
11
ULDNIEW 6"
Mr. Bruce Baracco
Senior Planner
San Joaquin County RECEIVED
Planning Division
1810 E. Hazelton Ave. MAY 4 1989
Stockton, CA 95205
Hand Delivered SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
PLANNING DIVISION
Dear Mr. Baracco:
On behalf of Mr. Jim Burnett and his family, I am responding
to the application referral sent by your office on the matter
referenced above. Mr. Burnett owns property directly to the
north across Harney Lane.
The concerns of my client are the issues of storm drainage
and flooding. These concerns are based on inadequate data in the
EIR to completely mitigate these issues. Therefore, we ask that
the following be incorporated into conditions of approval for the
Use Permit.
1. The project must be designed and engineered so that proper
channelization / containment of storm water sheet flow, which
historically has crossed the project site, is not diverted onto
adjoining properties or causes increased flows in water courses
causing flooding.
2. The project must provide for proper and adequate drainage
facilities to ensure containment of on site storm drainage so as
to not adversely affect surrounding properties.
3. The project must provide for engineered mechanisms ensuring
that storm water run off, which may leave the site will not carry
off any toxins that may be on the site.
4505 PRECISSI LANE - STOCKTON, CA 95207
Bus.
