10 May 2021
Project No. 21-6390
13,500-square mile San Joaquin Valley Groundwater Basin (Basin 5-22). This basin is
drained primarily by the San Joaquin River, which is approximately 1.3-miles northeast of
the project location. The nearest surface water feature to the project location is the Turner
Cut, which is approximately 4,500 feet to the southeast.

4.1. GROUNDWATER DESCRIPTION FOR THE GENERAL AREA

According to information obtained from a nearby site on the State Water Resources
Control Board’s GeoTracker Web site, depth to groundwater at the site between 2011
and 2014 was approximately 11 to 12 feet below surface grade (bsg) with a northeast
flow direction. Groundwater was not encountered in the percolation test holes advanced
on 21 April and 22 April 2021.

AGI reviewed the State of California Department of Water Resources (DWR) Sustainable
Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) Data Viewer but could not locate any recent
groundwater information for the subject property.

4.2. GROUNDWATER CONTAMINATION IN THE AREA OF THE SITE

The immediately adjacent and outlying land use for the parcel is listed as miscellaneous
or agricultural. Potential groundwater contamination can occur from several sources
including leaking underground storage tanks, septic systems, agricultural activities,
dairies, wells, and stormwater infiltration.

A review of the California Department of Toxics and Substance Control (DTSC)
EnviroStor Database and the GeoTracker Web site revealed two (2) cleanup program
sites within a half-mile radius of the project study area. The sites have been closed since
2017 and 2018. Based on the status of the sites and the distance and direction from the
study area, the sites should not impact the project. The review did not reveal any other
sites of environmental concern within a half-mile radius of the project study area.

4.3. ON-SITE EXISTING WELL DESCRIPTION

There are no existing water wells in the project study area. Well completion reports and
permits on record at the EHD for 2121 Zuckerman Road, Stockton, CA are included in
Appendix B.

5.0. SOIL PROFILE

An OWTS Permit was issued for the property by the EHD on 07 April 2021 to perform a
percolation test (Appendix C). On 21 and 22 April 2021, a 4-inch diameter hand auger
