(AGE) has prepared this Phase II Site Assessment
Work Plan for the properties located at 4025 and 4033 Coronado Avenue, Stockton,
California (site). The work plan provides procedures for the collection of soil-vapor
samples at the site. The site and surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1; on-site
structures and proposed soil boring locations are illustrated in Figure 2.
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
During the performance of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for the site, AGE
identified a former 2,000-gallon underground storage tank (UST) on the property that was
removed in 1996. Confirmation soil-vapor samples were taken from the site in 1997.
Analytical results indicated that elevated petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in soil-
vapor were detected at 15 feet below surface grade (bsg). A recommendation for
additional soil-vapor samples in the former UST area was warranted.
To evaluate if elevated levels of petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations still impact the
subsurface at the site, AGE has prepared the following work plan. Procedures for soil-
vapor sample collection are described in detail below.
SCOPE OF WORK
AGE proposes to advance a total of five (5) soil borings to total depths of fifteen (15)
feet bsg in the former UST area at the site. Soil-vapor points will be set in each boring at
,
837 Shaw Road • Stockton, CA 95215
Telephone (800) 511-9300 • Fax (888) 445-8786
An Employee-Owned Company
