The
Site is located approximately 4,000 feet south of Valpico Road and approximately 2,700 feet
west of Corral Hollow Road in Tracy (Figure 1). The Site consist of three parcels totaling 55
acres of vacant land and is identified by San Joaquin County Assessor's Parcel Numbers
(APN5): 240-140-440, 240-140-450, and 240-140-460.
The work is being performed on behalf of Woodside Homes as part of their due diligence
activities associated with the land purchase. The purpose of the work is to evaluate whether
soil gas in subsurface Site soil is impacted with chemicals of potential concern (COPCs)
associated with a possible release of crude oil-related compounds from a portion of the Chevron
pipeline which transects diagonally across the southwestern portion of the Site and from a
portion of the former Shell Oil pipeline easement which transects diagonally across the
northeastern portion of the Site.
For the purpose of this study, WKA will evaluate soil gas along the Chevron pipeline and former
Shell Oil pipeline easement for chemicals potentially introduced in subsurface soil during
historical leaks.
www.wallace-kuhl.com
