scheduled evacuation drills may be conducted at an time durin• field activities. <br />SITE-SPECIFIC HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN FOR WELL INSTALLATIONS <br />Emergency Response <br />May 4, 2017 <br />1.4 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES: EVACUATION <br />In the event of an on-site or off-site emergency requiring site evacuation (e.g., fire, release, <br />explosion, etc.), the following procedures will be followed: <br />Stop Work and notify the SHSO. <br />Evacuate the site and go to the emergency meeting location if safe conditions exist. The <br />generic evacuation point is on the corner sidewalk on Country Club Blvd at Franklin Ave. <br />as shown below. If safe conditions prevent evacuation to this location, move upwind, <br />away from the source of the emergency. Maintain a safe distance from the source. <br />Check in with the SHSO at the emergency meeting location. The SHSO will take <br />attendance once all personnel have gathered. <br />Dial 911 or the appropriate emergency response number(s) listed in Section 1.1. When in <br />doubt, emergency response personnel shall be notified. State the problem clearly and <br />completely. Remain on the line until dismissed by the operator. <br />Only attempt to extinguish small fires with portable dry chemical equipment on-hand. <br />The SHSO is responsible for notifying the Stantec Project Manager. The Stantec Project <br />Manager will initiate appropriate incident reporting procedures as described in Section <br />1.7. <br />Do not re-enter the emergency site without specific approval from emergency response <br />personnel. <br />Stantec <br />6
