SITE-SPECIFIC HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN FOR WELL INSTALLATIONS
May 4, 2017
Purpose and Approval
Our work can be hazardous, and it is imperative that we never forget that!
It is the purpose of this site-specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP) to proactively aid Stantec employees in:
Identifying and understanding the risks/hazards they are likely to encounter at the site. Mitigating those risks/hazards.
Stantec's policy is to complete our work on this site without any type of incident (injury, illness,
impact to the environment, impact to property and equipment). In order to achieve this goal,
the project team will work together to perform an effective hazard assessment. The team will
then establish appropriate precautions and communicate these daily among project staff. Staff
will be responsible for communicating changing field conditions to the project management so
these conditions and appropriate precautions may be re
-evaluated as needed. Staff will implement STOP WORK AUTHORITY
at any time they believe that conditions may be inherently
unsafe or might cause damage to property or harm to the environment. Staff may refuse to
participate in work they believe will be unsafe. If such conditions exist, staff will communicate
immediately with the Project Manager to resolve the situation. We expect all subcontractors and project personnel to share this goal.
Client: Chevron Environmental Management
Company (CEMC)
Project Name: 2103 Country Club Blvd., Stockton, CA
Start Date: 5 /4 /2017
Plan Review Date: November 4, 2017
Last do of ex ected fieldwork or no Ion er than 6 months .
Travis Flora
Stantec Pro.ect Mona er Signature:
Date:
Sucheon Sung
Stantec Site Health &
Safet Officer
Signature:
Date:
Site Name: Chevron 94054
Project Number: 185750391
End Date: 5 /4/2018
Devon Owens
Peer ReVew by Chevron Signature:
Team OE Network, or
Stantec CSEC
Date:
Stantec
