VAN BUREN STREET, STOCKTON, <br />SAN JAOQUIN COUNTY, CASE# 390567 <br />Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) staff <br />reviewed the Data Gap Assessment Work Plan and Path to Closure Review (Work Plan) <br />dated 2 January 2018, submitted on your behalf by Stantec Consulting Services Inc. <br />(Stantec) for the Former Chase Chevrolet property located at the former 424 N. Van Buren <br />Street address in Stockton (Site). <br />No environmental work has been performed at this Site since 2004, when all previously <br />existing structures, features, and wells were removed prior to construction of the Stockton <br />Arena, Banner Island Ball Park, and associated parking garage. The Site comprises a <br />portion of the property on which these facilities are built. In the Work Plan, Stantec identifies <br />remaining data gaps and impediments to closure, and proposes additional work to address <br />these impediments. <br />In the Work Plan, Stantec proposes to advance two (2) soil and grab groundwater borings <br />(SB-1 and SB-2), install three (3) soil gas wells (SV-1 through SV-3), and perform a survey of <br />sensitive receptors within 1,000 feet of the Site.
