Michael Carroll <br />County of San Joaquin Department of Public Works <br />Solid Waste Division <br />1810 East Hazelton Ave. <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />Subject: Rescission of the Notice of Intent to Include the North County Recycling Center and Sanitary <br />Landfill (39 -AA -0022) in the "Inventory of Solid Waste Facilities that Violate State Minimum Standards" <br />Dear Mr. Carroll: <br />The California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) issued to the County of San Joaquin Department of <br />Public Works (operator) a Notice of Intent to include the North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill <br />in the "Inventory of Solid Waste Facilities that Violate State Minimum Standards," dated August 12, 2005. The <br />Notice of Intent was issued for the repeat violation of Title 27, California Code of Regulations, <br />Section 20919.5 — Explosive Gas Control. <br />On October 11, 2005, the Board received the San Joaquin County Local Enforcement Agency's inspection report <br />of September 29, 2005, documenting the correction of the aforementioned violation. Therefore, the Notice of <br />Intent is hereby rescinded and the subject facility will not be included in the inventory. <br />Please continue to work with the local enforcement agency in maintaining compliance at the subject facility with <br />applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
