All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: The bottom of the pool is accumulating dirt, the pool sweep was on when I arrived. The operator of the <br />pool must maintain a clean pool. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br />#18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool shell it pitted, the pool shell should have a smooth water proof finish. The pool operators are <br />scheduling a remodel of the pool and will re -plaster the pool. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br />and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 31088) <br />#37 Electrical Hazards <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool lights on the east side were not working, and tripping the GFI breaker. Operators are aware of the <br />situation and are scheduling a remodel of the pool that includes reworking the pool lights. No swimming after dark is <br />permitted, until all lights are repaired. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br />Califomia Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4) Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br />fault circuit interrupter.
