LOGE 2117: Snider Percolation Test
April 16, 2020
Page 3
The soils on the Site have demonstrated a satisfactory percolation rate for the use of standard
septic systems in accordance with the requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department. This percolation test is considered representative of soils within an
approximate 100 -foot radius of the test location.
Because of the percolation rate between 5.0 and 30.0 min/in encountered in the deep test
hole, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department will require an 8 -foot
separation from the bottom of the dispersal system to ground water. Ground water is
anticipated to be encountered over 100 feet below ground surface at the Site; consequently,
no modifications to standard septic systems should be required.
Discussion of Septic System Sizing
Septic system construction utilizing leach lines and seepage pits should follow the San Joaquin
County On -Site Wastewater Treatment Systems Standards (2017) where applicable. The new
septic system will require a permit from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department.
We are pleased to be of service on this project. Please feel free to contact us should you have
any questions.
Sincerely,
Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
_A/
Abigail acco, Project Manager
gah-,
David Welch, Engineering Geologist
CEG -2151, CHG-653, PGP -1049
Attachments: Plate 1: Vicinity Map
Plate 2: Site Map
Percolation Test Permit
Percolation Test Form
Q DAVID J.VJFLCH 11 t
N0.2151 CERTIFIED MED f'TENGINEERING ,EOSyG
GEOLOGITEOF t OF CPL
