Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: LAUREL GLEN APARTMENTS, 574 BUTTON AVE, MANTECA 95336 <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> #9 Ladders and Handrails <br />OBSERVATIONS: Single handrail is loose. Fix handrail in 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool. Ladders and <br />handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed. At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br />above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 3111B) Pool <br />operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Both pool skimmers are lacking weir gate. Provide weir gates in 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br /> #30 Pool Equipment and Plumbing Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe water back flow at the equipment room floor drain. Fix plumbing issue and drainage today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All equipment related to pool operations shall be installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's <br />specifications and shall comply with applicable requirements established by applicable NSF/ANSI-50 performance standards. (CBC <br />3123B) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: Effluent gauge is stuck. Replace effluent gauge in 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
