All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Free chlorine is zero. It shall be 2.0-10.0 ppm (not any higher). <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:pH level is under 7.0. This level shall be 7.2-7.8 <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #16 Water Clarity MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Water is green and dirty. It shall be kept clear and free of debris. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clear pool water while pool is in use or shall close the pool if the bottom of the <br /> pool at the maximum depth is not clearly visible from the deck. (CCR 65527) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Provide the following safety signs before pool re-opens: <br /> 1. "KEEP GATE CLOSED"and"DIARRHEA"reminder signs. <br /> 2. Replace 6 in 1 sign and write in pool capacity, pool hours, site name and address, and phone number of nearest hospital. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained.
