Once fence is repaired, send this dept picture. <br /> Individual gates around fence are padlocked. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool area shall be enclosed by one or more of the following:a fence,portion of a building, wall, or other <br /> approved durable enclosure.Pool enclosure shall be constructed over a hard permanent material equivalent to concrete and shall be <br /> installed no more than 2 inches above the finished grade. Holes,gaps,or openings in the enclosure shall not allow the passage of a <br /> 4-inch diameter sphere.Doors, openable windows,or gates of living quarters shall not be permitted as part of the pool enclosure. (CBC <br /> 31198) Pool operator shall keep the pool enclosure well maintained. (CCR 65535) Pool enclosure shall have a minimum effective <br /> perpendicular height of 5 feet and shall be constructed so that it cannot be climbed by small children.Horizontal members shall be spaced <br /> at least 48 inches apart. No planters or other climbable structures shall be permitted within 5 feet of the pool enclosure or within a 5-foot <br /> arc. Chain link openings shall not be larger than 1314 inches when measured horizontally. Pool enclosures with a height of 4 or more feet <br /> are allowed if the enclosure was constructed prior to July 1994.
