S A N J O a Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> — C 0 j :V y <br /> Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name and Address: PINEWOOD COVE COA, 3219 DE OVAN AVE, STOCKTON 95204 <br /> #5 Restrooms and Showers <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Provide toilet paper and paper towels from wall mounted dispensers. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean:showers, toilets, dressing <br /> facilities, drinking fountains,diaper-changing stations, floors, walls,partitions, doors,and lockers. Showers(except outside)shall be <br /> provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue,hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in <br /> permanently installed dispensers.Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. Wooden slats, <br /> duckboards and footbaths are prohibited. (CCR 65535, 65551)Showers and lavatories shall be provided with hot and cold water faucets. <br /> Maximum water temperature at showers and lavatories shall not exceed I I0"F. (CBC 31166) <br /> #14 Chemical Water Test Kit <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Unable to verify that an adequate pool kit is being used. Make sure to use a DPD test kit. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain a test kit for measuring the disinfectant residual, combined chlorine,pH,and <br /> cyanuric acid(if used)at the pool. Test kit shall be available at all times the pool is in use. Chlorine and bromine test kits shall be DPD <br /> type. Chlorine test kits shall be capable of testing for free and total chlorine,so that combined chlorine concentrations can be determined. <br /> (CCR 65529) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Start recording pH and chlorine readings.Write in Year and Month. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There is a water hose that is stuck in the skimmer return line. This can cause pump damage and <br /> contamination to the fresh water supply. Hose shall be removed and never be placed in skimmer. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31366) <br /> #29 Recirculation System Operation <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Pump was turned off when inspection started (maybe due to water hose). Pump shall always be on one <br /> hour before pool hours and one hour after closing. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br /> needed to maintain clear pool water.
