The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for Yardscape Construction Inc. as of June 14, 2021. <br />Open violations from August 11, 2020 inspection <br />❑ This violation was corrected <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #106 -Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br />OBSERVATIOI�t The owner, Hector Gonzalez, stated that training has not been given to his employees. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br />waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br />emergencies. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous <br />waste. <br />❑ This violation was corrected <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #202 -Disposed or caused disposal of HW at an unauthorized point. <br />OBSERVATIOI�t The owner, Hector Gonzalez, stated that he uses used oil from cars on his cement equipment as a <br />releasing agent. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing thereof, is prohibited when the <br />disposal is at a facility which does not have a permit from the department issued pursuant to this chapter, or at any <br />point which is not authorized according to this chapter. Hazardous wastes shall be disposed of only by <br />transportation to a permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSDF) or other authorized <br />point. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately cease disposal of used oil onto the equipment and into the cement. Provide <br />a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
