All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classed as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545 <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Address and capacity signs are not available. Post signs before opening next season. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained.(CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate,or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users,unless otherwise specified, (CBC 31208) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Unable to check the pool light and test the GFCI. Make sure light and GIF CI are functioning properly <br /> before opening next season. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION.,Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational,the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Both single hand rails are loose. Fix before opening the next season. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION.A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool.Ladders and <br /> handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed.At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br /> above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 31118)Pool <br /> operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained.
