All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS: NOTE: Throw rings are put away until swimmers are present. Ensure that all safety equipment is out and <br /> available when swimmers are at pool. <br /> CALCODEDESCRIPTION:Safety equipmentshall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available foruse. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #5 Restrooms and Showers <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Refill powder soap dispensers. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean:showers, toilets, dressing <br /> facilities,drinking fountains,diaper-changing stations, floors, walls, partitions, doors, and lockers. Showers(except outside)shall be <br /> provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue, hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in <br /> permanently installed dispensers. Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility.
