The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One black plastic 8 gallon container of Most in One was observed in the bunker with an incorrect accumulation <br /> start date of 7/20/2021. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed in the engineering hazardous waste storage area without <br /> hazardous properties. <br /> -One black plastic 2 gallon container was observed in the women's health solid utility room without physical state <br /> and hazardous properties <br /> -Two black plastic two gallon containers of markers were observed in the operating room without physical state. <br /> One label was corrected on site <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 707 CCR 66273.34 Universal Waste Handler failed to label universal waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility has not labeled their universal waste(UW)as required by this section. The following <br /> universal waste was observed on-site with incomplete labeling: <br /> -A pallet of e-waste was observed outside the maintenance shop without any labeling <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.34 Labeling/Marking <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the UW as required by this section.Various UW can be appropriately <br /> labeled: "UW-batteries", "Universal Waste-Mercury-Containing Equipment", "Universal Waste-Lamps"or <br /> "Universal Waste-Electronic Devices". Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by July 22, 2021. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
