All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine level was almost zero. Maintenance added 2 gallons of liquid chlorine. Always maintain <br />level at 2.0-10.0 ppm if using stabilizer or 1.0-10.0 if using liquid chlorine. <br />New level was 2.0 ppm after chlorine was added <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #37 Electrical Hazards MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: GFI is not shutting off pool light. Pool shall close and not open until this is repaired. Call for re-inspection. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br />California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4) Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br />fault circuit interrupter. (CBC 3160B) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: There are tablets in skimmer's basket. Tablets shall be in feeder. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
