Called the CHP dispatch and RUVALCABA <br />confirmed information reported through CAL OES spill report 20-0682. It was <br />stated that CHP would be conducting the cleanup. Left for site at approximately <br />10:30 am and arrived at approximately 11:00 am. Met with Caltrans Maintenance <br />area superintendent Jesus Zuniga and Utilities Manager Mike Magney. It was <br />stated by Caltrans and CHP that the responsible party was not on site and had <br />been transported for medical treatment. All Environmental had been contacted by <br />the contractor, Boyd Special Commodities Inc. (209) 632-0221 located at 2000 <br />Paulson Rd in Turlock, CA 95380. All Environmental confirmed this when they <br />arrived. Boyd Special Commodities Inc was called. The person who answered <br />stated that the driver was Jose Aguilar the owner of Aguilar Transportation. Boyd <br />contracted Aguilar Transportation as a hauler. All notice to abate and billing should <br />go to Aguilar Trucking, per Boyd Special Commodities. <br />Evidence of a release was observed. Absorbent had been used to cover up the <br />liquid. Approximately 6 gallons of diesel were captured in containers. All <br />Environmental Services swept up the absorbent and containerized the liquid. One <br />55 gallon drum of solids and one 55 gallon drum of liquids was generated. <br />Cleanup was completed to departments satisfaction. <br />Called and spoke to Jose Aguilar, responsible party, and confirmed that Aguilar <br />Transportation was the responsible party. Confirmed mailing address. <br />Updated missing information on complaint. Generated prop 65., photo log and <br />narrative. <br />Notice to abate mailed to address on file for responsible party. <br />5105.rpt <br />Page 1 of 1
