Below is a list of products that can be utilized for dust control:
https://www.valleyair.org/busind/comply/PM10/Products%20Available%20for%20Controlling%2OPM10%20Ennissions.h
tm
On the list it talks about lignofulfonates as one of those products. However, as per our Rule 8011, any chemical or
organic material used for stabilizing solids shall not violate State Water Quality Control Board standards for use as a soil
stabilizer.
Hopefully this information helps. Please contact me if you have any further questions. Thank you for your time and have
a great day.
From: Muro, Claudia <cmuro@sjgov.org>
Sent: Wednesday, February 26, 2020 1:31 PM
To: James Sanders <James.Sanders@valleyairorg>
Subject: dust control
Hi James,
Thank you for taking the time to assist. The first attachment (MgLS...) is the dust control
product. The second attachment (Plaza 48%..) is premixed with the MgLS.
Thank you,
Claudia Muro, EHS
Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E.
