Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: <br />10:22 am <br /> 9:31 am <br />Time Out: <br />Program Element: 3612 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA - ADDITIONAL <br />Telephone: Owner/Operator: GATEWAY STATION LLC <br />Inspection Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION - Operating Permit <br />Address: 3600 W GRANT LINE RD, TRACY 95304 <br />Date: 06/30/2021Name of Facility: GATEWAY STATION APARTMENTS <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #1 Pool Gates MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The west pool enclosure entry gate does not self-latch all the way. Repair this gate to self-latch <br />immediately. <br />Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br />Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool area <br />except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br />maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: The west pool enclosure entry gate does not have the KEEP GATE CLOSED sign and diarrhea notice <br />sign. Obtain and post signage at this gate by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #5 Restrooms and Showers <br />OBSERVATIONS: The toilet in the small stall of the women's restroom sprays water when flushed. Repair toilet to proper <br />function ASAP. Maintain toilet OUT OF ORDER until restored to proper function. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean: showers, toilets, dressing <br />facilities, drinking fountains, diaper-changing stations, floors, walls, partitions, doors, and lockers. Showers (except outside) shall be <br />provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue, hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in <br />permanently installed dispensers. Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. Wooden slats, <br />duckboards and footbaths are prohibited. ( CCR 65535, 65551) Showers and lavatories shall be provided with hot and cold water faucets. <br />Maximum water temperature at showers and lavatories shall not exceed 110*F.
