All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Provide the site address, diarrhea sign and keep closed signs at the entrance gates. Correct by today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operatorshall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: The body hook must be bolted to the pole. Correct by today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed -length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17 -inch life ling with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />#12 pH Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: PH is high. Maintain at the required level. Correct by today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Check valves are missing on the equalizer lines, inside the skimmers. Install by today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31368) <br />#31 Disinfectant Feeders <br />OBSERVATIONS: The automatic disinfectant feeder must be use only. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION., Each pool shall be provided with a system capable of continuous disinfection of the pool water. (CBC 31238) <br />Disinfectant feeders shall be capable of supplying not less than the equivalent of 3 pounds of 100 percent available chlorine per day per <br />10,000 gallons of pool water.
