AFONSKAIA <br />05/11/2021 Field inspection with Mike S. Exterior inspection only. Did not observe surfacing AFONSKAIA <br />sewage. Mike spoke with two tenants, one of each side of the motel about sewage <br />problems and possible pest problems. The one tenant on the south side said there <br />were no sewage issue. The tenant on the north side there were some sewage <br />issues a while back but got it fixed. Also said there were some pest problems. <br />Observed broken window and missing insulation around AC at room 24. Room 20 <br />was fire damaged and unsecured. There was excessive trash in front of rooms 19 <br />and 18. Room 17 had a broken window along side of unit. The gate for the pool <br />area was unlocked and unchained. Owner corrected this on site, they chained and <br />locked the gate. Said that there were fixing the pump recently. Owner said that <br />they had all the septic tanks pumped recently and that there had been no sewage <br />issues. Said that there were bed bug issues in room 1A due to the tenant but the <br />tenant was evicted and the owner said that they had locked the unit and turned the <br />heater on for a month to deal with the bed bugs. Gave owner my card. Owner said <br />that room 24 was just used for storage and that they would likely just remove the <br />AC. Owner also said that they were working on getting the fire damaged unit <br />cleaned out and that they are having some difficulties disposing of the burnt trash <br />and appliances. Owner said that the fire department was there recently and that <br />the owner was working with them to get everything fixed. Owner said that they had <br />put smoke detectors in all the rooms as was required by the fire department. <br />Posted NOA outside office. <br />05/11/2021 Completed photo log.
