Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />June 30, 2021 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 1146 ENTERPRISE ST, STOCKTON <br /> Facility Name: <br /> PAULS AUTO REPAIR <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 104 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) No modified contingency plan. <br />OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan was not posted at the facility. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br />areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br />telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the <br />telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by filling out an emergency contingency <br />plan. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 117 HSC 25185(c)(3) Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br />OBSERVATION: This business did not provide a written response to the inspection report dated 1/26/2016 within 30 <br />days. The report was delivered to the business on 1/26/2016. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br />written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br />subdivision (a) of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br />department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require, which shall include a statement documenting <br />corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for <br />purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation. The local agency, the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, requires response within 30 days. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by providing inspector with an email <br />statement. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: One white plastic <br />55 gallon drum of used oil was observed with an open bung in the hazardous waste storage area <br /> <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br />storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by closing the used oil drum.
