Ruvalcaba, Cesar [EHD]
From: Crosariol, Victor <Victor.Crosariol@hdrinc.com >
Sent: Friday, April 16, 2021 4:08 PM
To: EH WellandSepticPermits [EHD]
Cc: Woo, Edwin; Higgins, Michael; Wong, Jimmy
Subject: Taber/HDR Permit App for Geotech borings (Union Pacific Railroad in Manteca)
Attachments: HDR_GeotechBoringPermitAPP_LathropWye_Submitted_2021-04-16.pdf
CAUTION: This email is originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the
sender and know the content is safe.
Good Afternoon,
Attached is a permit application to drill a total of eleven (11) geotechnical borings within Union Pacific Railroad
(UPRR) property and South San Joaquin Irrigation District (SSJID) property in Manteca, CA. This work is in support
of the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission's Lathrop Wye and Track Extension project. HDR Engineering, Inc.
(HDR) is submitting this application on behalf of Taber Drilling, Inc (Taber). Taber is the contractor and signer on the
application forms.
Based on previous discussions that I have had with San Joaquin County Environmental Health staff, we understand
that this is considered a single contiguous project for the purpose of the permit application and fee calculation.
Therefore, we have paid a fee of $1,976.00, which accounts for the first boring at $456 plus 10 borings at $152.
The attached application includes:
Page 1: Well/Pump Permit form (for geotechnical borings).
This page shows information for both SSJID and UPRR.
A table is provided with APN numbers and other information for each boring location.
Page 2: Licensed Contractors Declaration form.
Page 3: Site plan showing the overall project area (Figure 1).
Pages 4 through 13: Site plans showing individual boring locations (Figures 2 through 11).
Page 14: Receipt for credit card payment of the permit fee.
Here is a link to Taber's information on CSLB:
https://www.cslb.ca.gov/onlineservices/checklicensell/LicenseDetail.aspx?LicNum=969927.
We currently have the drilling work scheduled to begin on Monday, May 17, 2021.
Please confirm receipt of this email and application. And let me know if you have any questions or need anything
else as you process the application.
Thanks,
Vic
Vic Crosariol, PE
Assistant Project Manager, Geotechnical Section
HDR
2365 Iron Point Road, Suite 300
Folsom, CA 95630
D 916.817.4721
M 510.316.8861
victor.crosariol©hdrinc.com
hdrinc.com/follow-us
