All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The chlorine level of the pool is 0.2ppm. Maintain the pool water chlorine level at 2.0- 10.0 ppm. <br /> Unable to correct on site. <br /> The pool shall remain closed until this item is corrected and the pool is re-inspected. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The cyanuric acid level of the pool is greater than 100 ppm. Reduce the cyanuric acid level of the pool to <br /> less than 100 ppm by next pool season (this may require draining a portion of the pool water). <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pool plaster has some black algae.Take action to remove black algae for the pool plaster. Correct <br /> ASAP. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides,and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br /> and free of slime and algae.
