R DICAMBA AND PHENOXY HERBICIDES CONDITION - R - DICAMBA AND PHENOXY HERBICIDES — SPECIAL HAZARDOUS AREA In addition to all applicable laws, regulations, label restrictions, and other conditions of this permit, the conditions listed below apply to applications in the Hazardous Area of San Joaquin County beginning March 16 and continuing through October 15: 1. A drift reducing agent shall be added to the spray mixture at the label rates. 2. No Phenoxy application shall be made when the wind velocity is less than 2 m.p.h. or in excess of 7 m.p.h. 3. No Dicamba applications are allowed when wind exceeds 5 m.p.h. 4. No Dicamba applications are allowed when the maximum temperature on the day of application is predicted to exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Predicted temperature for the following day will be determined by the NOAA National Weather Service. 5. Air applications are prohibited, except as follows: KING ISLAND, EMPIRE TRACT, BISHOP TRACT, RIO BLANCO TRACT, BOULDIN ISLAND, STATEN ISLAND. Monitoring of application by a Commissioner's representative is required. Application shall not begin until the Commissioner's representative is on site, or approval has been received from the Commissioners representative.
