Hwy 12, Lodi <br />APN 055-070-21 SR0083887, PA-2000102(UP) <br />Jasjit Kang, REHS, Director <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS, Assistant Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Melissa Nissim, REHS <br />Steven Shih, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br />Loading (SSNL) Study, dated May 13 2021 and has the following comments for your consideration. <br />The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater treatment <br />system (OWTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater. <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings: <br />The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study supports the suitability for standard OWTS usage for the <br />proposed development project on the above-mentioned parcel, pursuant to San Joaquin County <br />Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). <br />2. Percolation test conducted on April 20, 2021 yield percolation rate of 8.92 & 25 minutes/inch. At this <br />rate, an eight -foot soil separation shall be required between bottom of dispersal field and groundwater. <br />Groundwater at the site was encountered at 5.5' below ground surface San Joaquin County Onsite <br />Wastewater Treatment Standard table 1.10.2. <br />3. On April 20, 2021, soil -boring B2 was hand augured to 6' below ground surface for soil profile purposes <br />without obtaining a boring permit.
