Delta Ave, Tracy
APN 213-100-28, SR0083874, PA-2100103 (MS)
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil
Suitability/Nitrate Loading (SSNL) Study, dated June 8, 2021 and has the following comments for
your consideration.
The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater
treatment system (OVVTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater from
the proposed subdivision of current parcel into a 5-acre parcel and a 42.32-acre parcel
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study supports the suitability for standard OVVTS usage for
the proposed development project on the above-mentioned parcel, pursuant to San Joaquin
County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
Percolation test conducted on May 27, 2021 yield percolation rate of 3.62 & 15.63
minutes/inch. At this rate, an eight-foot soil separation shall be required between bottom of
dispersal field and groundwater for future septic system. Groundwater at the site was
encountered at 5.97' below ground surface San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment
Standard table 1.10.2.
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Senior Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, at nahmed@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3018.
Program Coordinator
c: LiveOak
1868 E.
