lrerracon Soil Suitability / Nitrate Loading Study
Morada Produce — Ag Processing Building a Stockton, California
May 14, 2021 s Terracon Project No. NA217014
1.3.3 Discussion of On-Site Septic Tank Installation and Repair
Based on a review of the permits, the site is developed with approximately four 2,000-gallon septic
tanks with 50 foot to 60 foot long leach lines with 25 foot deep seepage pits. Repairs include
additional 50 foot long leach lines with 25 foot deep seepage pits. The following septic system
information was provided by the client.
Table 3.
Building and Septic Design Information.
Septic
System
No.
Building Name/ID
Approximate
Building
Square
Footage
Year
Septic
System
Installed
Tank
Size
(Gallons)
Leach
Line
Quantity
Leach
Line
Length
(Feet)
Seepage
Pits
1 Northwest Restroom
260,000 ±
Unknown 2000, 2 40 Four 3' W x
25' D
2 South Restrooms 2003 (2) 2,000 5 50 Five 4' W x
25' D
3 Northeast Restrooms 71,000 ± 2009 2,000 2 40 Four 3W x '
25' D
4 Proposed Ag Processing Building —
Southeast Restrooms 37,800 Pending - --- --- ---
1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed
a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarth TM . The vicinity of the site
consists of agricultural land and rural residences. The assumption was made that each
building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this method, we determined there are
approximately 23 septic systems within 1.0 mile of the site.
1.3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Terracon searched the EHD Public Records website for the adjoining property septic permits.
