(a) and (b) , Chapter 2, of the <br /> Environmental Checklist checked "NO" while Section B, Chapter <br /> 3, states that air quality issues related to the Recycling <br /> Projects include odors and dust generation from the processing <br /> of solid waste, and emissions from vehicle traffic to the <br /> site? Also, why is there a list of mitigation measures if <br /> there is "NO" impact on air quality? <br /> 0 Why is Section 17 (b) , Chapter 2, of the Environmental <br /> Checklist checked "NO" while it is clear from Section G, <br /> Chapter 3, that there is concern of exposing waste handlers to <br /> contaminants or hazardous conditions. <br /> Also, CIWMB Staff recommend that, in the future, the County should <br /> provide explanations to all "yes", "no" and "maybe" answers on the <br /> Environmental Checklist and provide a more detailed project <br /> description. <br /> Mitigation Reporting or Monitoring Program <br /> Preparation of a Mitigation Reporting or Monitoring Program is <br /> required by Public Resources Code Section 21081.6. This program <br /> "shall be designed to ensure compliance during project <br /> implementation. " <br /> Finally, staff suggests that the Sonoma County Source Reduction and <br /> Recycling Element (SRRE) and the Household Hazardous Waste Element <br /> (HHWE) be consulted to evaluate the project's consistency with <br /> these Elements. <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to review this document.
